Short Biography
Rhiannon Koch has an impressive and well-rounded background in dentistry. Growing up in central Victoria, she pursued her studies at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, where she earned her Bachelor of Oral Health Science. Her passion for dentistry extended beyond her undergraduate studies, leading her to complete postgraduate training in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry. Rhiannon is particularly passionate about preserving natural teeth and preventing the need for expensive treatment, emphasising prevention and early intervention. Her extensive experience as a dental nurse for 20 years further strengthens her expertise in patient care. Known for her gentles and empathetic approach, Rhiannon specialises in helping anxious or fearful patients feel at ease during dental treatments. She also dedicates over 80 hours annually to continuous education, keeping herself up to date with the latest advancements in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics and Preventive Dentistry.
Outside of her professional commitments, Rhiannon enjoys physical challenges at the gym, music of all types, bushwalking, and volunteering for the Maneki Neko Cat Rescue, reflecting her deep love for animals and nature.
